We had a great stay at Broughton Craggs! The breakfast was delicious and the blackout blinds in the bedroom worked really well. We enjoyed the nice views and the location and grounds were lovely. We particularly loved the grand house and its exquisite interior. The public rooms were tastefully decorated, and we especially liked the grand staircase. The bedroom was beautiful and the mattress was excellent. The restaurant provided an excellent dining experience, including a beautiful breakfast. The staff were friendly and provided the warm hospitality we expected from Cumbrians.

The hotel had a brand new, comfortable mattress on the bed which made for a great night's sleep. The location of the hotel was in a quiet area and easily commutable to nearby towns. The staff were friendly and the lounge areas were nice and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a busy day.

The food was average, but reasonably priced. The soundproofing in the rooms wasn't great, so we could hear noises from the neighboring rooms.

Fantastic Stay at the Lakes

I recently stayed at Broughton Craggs for a long weekend with my partner and two rescue dogs. The staff and owners were incredibly pleasant and happy to help. They went above and beyond to cater to my gluten-free needs, even providing gluten-free biscuits. The cozy atmosphere, clean rooms, and excellent quality food made our stay truly enjoyable. We loved having pre-dinner drinks on the terrace, surrounded by beautiful grounds and stunning views. The rustic charm of the old building added to the overall experience. We will definitely be returning.
